Today I learned organic chemistry. In chapter two I learned about the
four functional groups and how they make idenifying organic compounds
easier. All of the groups are created by removing a hydrogen atom from
the alkane. The four funtional groups help to simplify identifying the
many organic compounds, that they use the script R for general formula.
