Reading my text I became confused at the bottom of page 104 where it is
dealing with inductive effects. It has a little diagram that shows the
flourine end of the structure as being more negative, and then right
below it a statement is made to the effect of the flourine end of the
bond as being more positive. WHat?
A little help here.
