PLU now has it own MSDS database available ON-LINE. It is only accessible
from the plu.edu domain. If you have been trying out the MSDS's available
from other institutions, you may have found them to be slow at times. You
should have MUCH faster response times using our own local database. You
can get to it from the chemistry department homepage. (Goto URL:
http://www.chem.plu.edu/ and select the chemistry department link and then
you will see the link after the faculty section of links) The direct URL
is <http://www.chem.plu.edu/chemdept/msds.html>. Once at the page you
need to select the button that says "Goto MSDS's". I have tried it from
both Netscape and lynx and it seems to works fine.
I hope you find this useful. Please let me know if you have any problems
with it.
