Effective Immediately

Greetings, again. I am instituting some changes in expectations for The
Organic Journal Club, based in large part upon advice from the Student
Board of Directors.

Effective immediately, only TEN postings will be required over the course
of the semester. For the messages you have posted so far I will count up
to two of them at five points each. Remaining messages to the TOJC will
be worth 5 rather than 2 points, for a total of 50 points maximum.

Additionally, I am discontinuing the "What I learned today in organic..."
type of message. From now on, please only post questions or answers to
TOJC. This does not reflect anything about the quality of those
messages, simply a need to reduce the flow of email.

As I have mentioned, I am extremely enthusiastic about the ferment of
teaching and learning going on through TOJC. I hope that through these
changes the quality and usefulness of your activity will remain high but
that the demands on your email housekeeping will be reduced.

Cheerio!
