Hi all,
I gots me a qweschun. (whoops sorry for the southern)- I have a
question regarding group size near the reaction site of an acid-catalyzed
esterification: What is it (specifically) that would cause a large
functional group near the reaction site to slow the reaction??? Is it
just that there are too many sites??? I'm drawing a blank here, could
someone gimme a handle on this one?? Did el proffo cover this in class
today?? (I was playing hookey) whoops! I gotta go, my karma just ran over
