Hello to all chemistry thinking minds,
I was wondering if anyone out there in the PLU organic chemistry
community knew a way in which I could understand the changes that occur
in a cyclohexane molecule (with attached substituent other a hydrogen
atom) and then deciding which of the two confirmations is the most
stable? And if one is the most stable, why is that so? Does it surround
the overall weight of the attched substituent as well as its orientation
about the cyclohexane ring.
Keep those gears turning,
