TOJC; hydrogenation reactions

I just had a quick point of confusion I was hoping someone could clear
up. When considering Lindler's catalyst and the P-2 catalyst for
hydrogenation of alkynes, do these catalysts only add one mole of H2 to
form an alkene, or could they continue to add more hydrogen and form an
alkane? Thanks for any help.
