I am having problems with problem 13.16, regarding figure 13.38.
Could someont please explain to me why the hydrogen at 6.05 (labled b in
the answer book) is not split into a doublet, while the hydrogen at 5.64
(labled c in the answer book) is split into a doublet? To me it seems
like they should both either be doublets or singlets because they are
connected to the same carbon. I would appreciate it if someone could
help! Thanks!
