TOJC reduction ?

Dear Organic Class,
I had a question on Chapt. 10 problem 31 a&b. For (e) the answer
given is 1-Methyl-2-cyclopenten-1-ol. For (f) the answer given is
cis-3-Methylcyclohexanol. Why in (e) is the number given for the
placement of the alcohol and in (f) it is not given? Thank you.
