When I read over the LiAlH4/NaBH4 reducing section I got the idea from the
figure on 472 that when choosing the reagent to use the most appropriate
one based on it's ability to perform the reaction followed by the ease of
that reaction process. I figured they wouldn't have given us the "ease of
reduction" arrow unless it was a general rule. Hope that cleared
something up for you.
