In the learning groups presentation, i notice that there were two
different ways of synthesizing the first step in question two. I cant
remeber exactly what it was but it ended in the removal of a H from a
secondary alcolhol. I way this was accomplished was by using hot KMnO4,
and the other was using H2CrO2. I was just wondering if it was more
appropriate to use the H2CrO2 since they are better in removing H's of
secondary alcohols?

p.s I don't think that the formula is correct for H2CrO2, but i don't have
my book to verify.
