When one interchanges the connectivity of atoms on a specific
molecule and obtains an opposite configuration, say an (S) instead of (R),
does this always mean that the opposite of the interchanged molecule is
the right answer? (ie., if you get (R) by interchanging, does it mean that
the original molecule was an (S) configuration?) If so, does this work
for all molecules in conjuction with stereochemistry?
