chiral-achiral w/ cyclohexanes

Hi;

How do we know when a cis cyclohexane will be chiral or achiral. In
problem 5.26(b) the cis structure is chiral (an enantiomer) but in
problem
5.40 the cis structure id achiral. Could someone please clear this up for
me.
