Greetings, folks. First of all, I'd like to reiterate my praise for the
teaching that I have seen take place over TOJC. Many of your
contributions are quite well stated. Keep the questions coming, too.

Now, about the archive, when you check the archive for your email
postings, be sure to check both the February and March sections.

Also, there was a period a week or so ago when a) changes were in progress
with the campus network that led to some lost messages, and b) someone
had a job running on our server that consumed all the cpu time available.
No priority was given to email service. During this time some messages
were lost to the ether. I do not have any record of them, as I once
thought I might. YOU may still have record of them, though, in your "Sent
Mail" folder (or similarly named folder where mail you send is
automatically saved). Check your list of folders in Pine to see if you
have such folder. If you have copies of the TOJC postings you made but
that were not received by the server, you may forward them back to the
organic1 list and I will count them. On the other hand, since only five
messages are expected in the first half of the term, I think it is quite
likely that there are enough questions in your mind to round out your
number of contributions to five even if you lost a couple to the ether.
I'll count messages as among the first five up through the end of the week
after Spring break - Saturday April 5 (that is an extension beyond what I
said in class today). After that you will have the rest of the semester
to contribute five more postings.

I hope that gets us back on track.
