When the halides are added to the tubes containing the sodium iodide and
then heated in the 50 degrees C bath, what is considered a precipitate?
When swirled white particles will swirl up from the bottom of the tube and
cause a slight cloudiness in the liquid. Is this a precipitate?
Also, I just checked the TOJC posting on the net and saw that I had fewer
postings than I had thought I had written. Is anyone else having this
problem?
